• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Set up and operate 2 Axis lathe machines and Bar Fed lathes.
• Perform product inspection using gauges and measurements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.

CNC Lathe Operative – Immediate Start Available

Monday to Friday with offer of Overtime






We at Pertemps Wolverhampton are currently seeking an experienced CNC lathe operative to join our client . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment

experience with Automotive , Aerospace would be beneficial .

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 2 Axis lathe machines (experience with milling machines is a plus)
  
  
• Operate Bar Fed lathes
  
  
• Perform product inspection using gauges and measurements
  
  
  
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  
  
• Load and unload parts
  
  
• De-burr components to a high standard
  
  
• Carry out Basic machine checks and maintenance
  
  
• Operate multiple machines when required
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience
  
  
• Background in the manufacturing industry
  
  
• Strong knowledge of Gauges and measurement's
  
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy in your work
  
  
• A team-oriented mindset with a "can-do" attitude
  
  
• Organised, focused, and able to work to tight tolerances
