Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join our well established client in Maidenhead.

Ideal candidates will have experience of operating CNC laser machines or punch presses. We will also consider applicants with a background in Sheet Metal/ Fabrication / CNC Machining, who are willing to learn a new skill with full training provided to the successful candidate.

Duties:

• Operating and setting Trumpf Laser Machines
• Loading material and taking parts off when cut with the Laser Machines
• Deburring and packing
• Keeping work stations clean and tidy at all times
• Following and maintaining high quality standards and planning workloads
• Helping in other departments as and when required

Requirements:

• Positive can-do attitude and high work ethic
• Good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Forklift driver
• Computer literate
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Physically fit due to some required manual lifting

Salary:

• Up to 35k depending on experience

Hours:

• 40 hour per week with some flexibility (8am – 5pm)
