Excellent opportunity to join a specialist, very established and highly reputable employer as they seek to recruit an additional CNC Laser Operator to join their team on a full time permanent basis This is a superb opportunity to work within an excellent employer who are able to offer a great working environment and long term security and stability. My client are currently operating a four day working week– 37.5 hours per week! Overtime is also available on Fridays during busy periods at 1.5 x time.

CNC Laser Operator

Full Time permanent role

Mon – Wed (Apply online only) and Thu (Apply online only). Overtime available at 1.5 x time during busy periods on Fridays.

Burgess Hill. Free parking on site and nearby. My client are based around 15/20 minute walk from the nearest station.

Salary: GBP28000–GBP31200 per year (GBP14.35–GBP16 per hour) depending on experience plus good company benefits

Duties and responsibilities:

Setting and operating Trumpf Fiber Laser with Siemens control.

Loading / Unloading Laser with raw materials (Automation and Forklift Driving).

1st off Inspection of cut components to engineering drawings.

Quality control of ongoing production – to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Preparing and packing parts for despatching.

Weekly preventative maintenance of Laser.

Working as part of a busy team.

Competencies, skills and experience required:

CNC Setting/Operating preferred but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate, this will include training off site and in–house.

Engineering background preferred with qualified training.

Electric Counter–balance forklift licence – this is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
