CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Worcestershire

Shift Pattern: Double Day Shifts

Join a high-performance manufacturing team dedicated to precision engineering. We are currently looking for a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator to strengthen the machining department, working with advanced Struder Cylindrical/universal grinding machinesto produce critical, high-tolerance parts.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set and operate CNC grinding equipment, specifically Studer cylindrical/universal grinders

• Program, edit, and improve existing and new parts using Fanuc CNC controls

• Manufacture complex components with precision and attention to detail

• Work within a supportive engineering team, maintaining strict health & safety standards

• Drive continuous improvement through participation in kaizen and safety initiatives

Role Requirements

Essential:

• Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding techniques

• Competent in operating and setting CNC controls safely

• Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude

• Proven experience in fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing settings

Desirable:

• Ability to program directly from engineering drawings using Fanuc controls

• CNC grinding knowledge and experience

• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship background
