Job description
Are you an experienced engineer focused on gear cutting and CNC grinding, or do you have broader experience including assembly and hand finishing of parts? If so, you will be producing specialist parts for complex automotive assemblies daily in this position.
This machine shop has earned a reputation within the automotive industry for high-precision work. With ambitious growth plans, the manufacturing team plays a key role in achieving these targets. The work environment is modest, with a recently refurbished shopfloor, and involves working within a small section with lots of autonomous work.
As a CNC grinder, you'll be responsible for producing components to high standards efficiently and cost-effectively. Your duties will include setting and operating surface and cylindrical grinding machines, as well as performing some hand finishing duties.
- Experience setting and operating CNC grinding machines (surface or cylindrical)
- Experience working within a production machining environment
- Ability to ensure high quality of parts produced
