Job description

Are you an experienced engineer who has focused your career on gear cutting and CNC grinding? Or have you got broader experience which includes the above as well as some assembly and hand finishing of parts? You will be producing specialist parts for complex automotive assemblies daily in this position.

This machine shop has earned itself a great reputation within the automotive industry for their high precision work. As a business, they have some ambitious growth plans, and the manufacturing team plays a key role in hitting those targets. You can expect a modest working environment with a recently re-furbished shopfloor, working within a small section involving lots of autonomous working!

The role;

As a CNC grinder, you'll be responsible for producing components to the company's high standards in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. You'll be required to set and operate surface and cylindrical grinding machines as well as carry out some hand finishing duties.

What we need from you;

• CNC grinding machine setting and operating (surface or cylindrical)
• Experience within a production machining environment
• High-quality parts production
