Field Service Technician / CNC Field Service Technician required to join a provider of machine tools and services.
The successful Field Service Technician / CNC Field Service Technician will be able to commit to 100% travel. You will be home for weekends when possible but not guaranteed

Field Service Technician / CNC Field Service Technician Responsibilities
Disassemble and prepare machines for shipping.
Ensure proper leveling and alignment of machinery.
Diagnose and resolve major machine tool issues.
Disassemble, repair, and rebuild machine tool subassemblies and assemblies.
Organize, label, and mark components for reassembly.
Identify, repair, or replace damaged parts.
Perform initial power-up and troubleshoot machine functionality.
Fine-tune servo systems for optimal performance.
Accurately report activities and expenses in a timely manner.
Train employees for career advancement.
Provide customer training on CNC control system operations.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs of electronic circuits.
Maintain clear communication with customers, vendors, OEMs, and internal teams.
Keep the workspace clean, organized, and efficient.
Frequently travel to customer sites, often on short notice.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Field Service Technician / CNC Field Service Technician Requirements
Strong knowledge of machine tools, terminology, and mechanical systems.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician / CNC Field Service Technician
Associate degree in electronic engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in troubleshooting CNC controls, programming, and applications.
Familiarity with parametric programming and ladder logic.
Experience using test equipment and understanding machine tool specifications.
Ability to use mechanical hand tools and basic power tools.
Experience with Renishaw Ballbar and Laser Calibration equipment (preferred but not required).
Capability to perform final scraping and fitting of machine components (preferred but not required).
Strong problem-solving skills and advanced troubleshooting abilities.
