Job summary

PMB Manufacturing & Technical Recruitment Ltd is helping a young CNC machine tool specialist recruit a Field Service Engineer. The role is based from home with a national travel requirement across the UK and Ireland, and occasional international trips.

You will install, commission and hand over CNC machines from compact 3-axis mills to full 5-axis centres, diagnose faults on-site, and perform servicing milestones. Growth potential into leadership roles exists as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with hands-on CNC machine tools.
• Exposure to electrical fault-finding and practical problem solving.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and hand over CNC machines to customers.
• Diagnose and fix breakdowns in the field for blue-chip clients and shops.
• Perform routine servicing and warranty-related maintenance.
• Support PDI work at sales centres when needed.
• Travel across the UK/Ireland with occasional international trips.
