Job summary

Groomfield Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer for a leading European CNC machine manufacturer. You will install, commission and service CNC lathes at customer sites across the UK, with travel and hands-on programming as part of a varied, customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC lathe service or maintenance experience – essential.
• Mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• CNC programming experience advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

• Install, commission, service and repair CNC lathes at customer sites across the UK.
