Location: Field-based (Edinburgh to Newcastle)
Package: £50,000 – £60,000 + Company Vehicle + Bonuses + Full Benefits

The Opportunity
Are you an apprentice-trained engineer seeking a rewarding field role with a world-leading CNC machine tool OEM? This is your chance to work with cutting-edge machinery while supporting a wide customer base across the UK.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring CNC machines operate at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Breakdown & Maintenance: Diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and maximise uptime.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Set up, test, and optimise new CNC equipment on-site.
  • Servicing & Repairs: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Customer Support & Training: Provide guidance to operators on machine use and maintenance best practices.
  • Ongoing OEM Training: Access international training programmes and the latest technologies.
