We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components.

Working in a team of engineers manufacturing intricate plastic parts for various industries, our client is a leading manufacturer of custom plastic components, investing continually in new machines, processes, and team development to maintain their industry-leading position.

Responsibilities:
  1. Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
  2. Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine setup and production methods
  3. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy
  4. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
  5. Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
  6. Troubleshoot machine errors and perform necessary adjustments
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Experience in producing precision plastic parts
  • Ability to operate and program Citizen, Triumph, Mayano, and HAAS machines
  • Experience with sliding and fixed head CNC machines

Work hours: 40 hours per week on days, with overtime as required.

Salary: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits include pension and holidays.

Plastic experience is not mandatory but would be advantageous.
