Thomas Lee Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a specialist machine tool business.

You will travel nationwide across the UK to install, commission, service and repair CNC machinery, diagnosing faults and minimising downtime at customer sites. You will work on electrical/electronic CNC systems, covering control, drives, PLCs, electrical schematics and safety systems.

Qualifications

• CNC service experience on machine tools.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams/schematics.
• Knowledge of drives, PLCs and machine electrics.
• Experience with Heidenhain, SINUMERIK and/or Fanuc controls.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, service and repair CNC machinery.
• Diagnose faults at customer sites and minimise downtime.
• Work directly with customers to return machines to production.
• Make informed engineering decisions on-site with limited supervision.
