Job summary

CV Technical Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to service CNC machine tools across the UK. You will install, commission, maintain and repair machines, diagnosing faults in Heidenhain, SINUMERIK and Fanuc controls while providing technical support to customers.

The role requires independent field work, a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel nationwide. You will receive manufacturer training, a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and repairing CNC machine tools.
• Strong electrical and electronic fault-finding skills.
• Experience with Heidenhain, Siemens SINUMERIK and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and diagnose complex machine faults.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair CNC machine tools at customer sites.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and CNC control faults to minimise downtime.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Back up and restore CNC parameters and data as required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Complete service reports and coordinate with technical support.
