Working Hours: MonThru, 7:30am5:00pm, Fri 7:30am-1:00pm (Overtime Available]

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC brake press machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC brake press machines (e.g. Amada).
• Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Perform quality checks using measurement tools (verniers, gauges).
• Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Report any production or quality issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience:

Requirements:

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC brake press machines.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with Amada or similar CNC machines.
• Basic computer literacy for programming adjustments.
• Forklift or crane license (advantageous, not essential).
