Job summary

T&G Engineering in West Byfleet, Surrey is seeking a skilled CNC 5-axis Miller to join our precision machining team. You will program, set and operate Okuma CNC milling machines on complex components with strict GD&T standards.

We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience, a modern air-conditioned workshop, on-site parking and overtime paid at time and a half. A long-term career with stable employment is available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC Miller (programmer, setter, operator).
• Experience machining complex components.
• Ability to read complex technical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Must have 5-axis milling experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is essential.
• Passion for engineering and commitment to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Includes all aspects of CNC Milling.
• Programming, setting and operating Okuma CNC 3 & 5 Axis Milling Machines.
• Working on highly complex components with strict GD&T adherence and compliance to technical documentation.
• Use of measuring equipment to check components to maintain high-quality standards.
• Work to health and safety and housekeeping standards.
