Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a CMS Platforms Product Head at director level to lead the strategic transformation of Cash Management Services across EMEA. The role requires defining a compelling product vision and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions that support Transaction Banking programs.

The role combines strategic leadership with agile delivery, shaping IT strategy and architecture while working with SMBC IT and third-party vendors.

The Cash Management Services (CMS) product owner will lead the strategic transformation of SMBC’s Cash Management and Deposits product suite across EMEA

This Director level role is accountable for defining and executing a compelling product vision, aligning cross functional teams, and delivering innovative, customer centric solutions that supports the Transaction Banking & CMS programs and successfully drives IT strategy, architecture and solutions design

Define and articulate a clear, compelling product vision for SMBC’s cash management solutions in conjunction with business leadership

The anticipated salary range for this role is £104,00 - £156,000 with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, role scope, location, and relevant market factors. In addition to base salary, the role may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award and a competitive benefits package, including core benefits such as pension provision.

We are seeking a dynamic and delivery-focused Director to lead key transformation initiatives in CMS technology within our EMEA region. This role will play a central part in modernizing the bank’s CMS systems and processes, with a focus on implementing scalable, data-driven, and regulatory-compliant solutions

This Director level role is accountable for defining and executing a compelling product vision, aligning cross functional teams, and delivering innovative, customer centric solutions that supports the Transaction Banking & CMS programs. The role combines strategic leadership, agile delivery, and deep domain expertise to drive business value and operational excellence.

This position is for an experienced Technology Product Manager who understands requirements and priorities of SMBC EMEA CMS domain, successfully drives IT strategy, architecture and solutions design, roadmaps, delivery and enablement of IT solutions in a collaborative way together with other SMBC IT areas and third-party vendors and plays an active leadership role within EMEA CMS Function.
