Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Leicester is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join a permanent, day-shift role. You will program and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS, producing accurate inspection results and driving continuous improvements.

The role requires strong PC-DMIS programming experience, GD&T knowledge and the ability to create and modify inspection programs from drawings. Competitive salary and ongoing development offered.

Qualifications

• PC-DMIS programming experience required.
• Experience operating CMMs.
• Ability to create and modify inspection programs from drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ISIR/FAIR documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS.
• Create new CMM inspection programs from drawings and specifications.
• Update existing programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Produce inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T and customer specs.
• Complete ISIR/FAIR documentation and ballooning.
• Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvements in the CMM inspection process.
• Ensure work complies with quality standards and health and safety procedures.
