Job summary

Gerrell & Hard in Abingdon is seeking an experienced Metrologist / CMM Programmer to inspect precision components and support product development from prototype to final QC. This hands-on role uses the latest CMM equipment in a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will program and operate CMMs, develop inspection processes, and work with engineering teams to ensure quality. A proactive, detail-oriented professional with 3+ years in CMM programming is ideal.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM programming experience.
• Experience with PC-DMIS and/or MODUS.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently.

We're looking for an experiencedCMM Programmerto play a key role in inspecting precision-engineered components and supporting product development from prototype through to final quality control. This is a varied, hands-on role working with the latest metrology equipment in a fast-paced engineering environment.

What you'll do

• Program and operate CMM equipment (Hexagon/PC-DMIS and Renishaw Agility/MODUS)
