Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Tamworth is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team. The role involves programming, evaluation and operation of CMMs (QCT and Mitutoyo software) on aerospace and automotive projects, with a focus on first article reporting and PPAP readiness.

You will collaborate with a team of seven quality professionals, utilise ERP/MRP systems, and contribute to ongoing training while working a day shift (Mon–Fri, with potential for a 4-day week).

Qualifications

• Programming and use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (QCT and Mitutoyo software).
• AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001:2015 & ISO17025:2017 experience.
• Experience with First Article Reporting methods (Aerospace & Automotive).
• Experience working with Aerospace / Automotive OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Program, evaluate and operate CMMs (QCT & Mitutoyo software).
• Produce FAIRs to AS9102 and PPAP levels 1–5.
• Utilise ERP/MRP system during quality measurements and reporting.
• Work within a team of quality staff to maintain AS9100/ISO compliance.

Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour

Hours: Day-shift Monday to Friday may consider 4 day week

Optima are looking for a skilled CMM Programmer with a quality background, to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, Evaluation and Operation of CMM's (QCT / Mitutoyo Software & Desirable State of the art Gear measuring Machine.
