Qualifications

  • Extensive calibration and CMM knowledge.
  • Ability to create new programmes using specific software.

About the Role

Joining our team as a CMM Engineeryou will work directly with the customer representatives writing and validating CMM programmes for aerofoil components, performing independent measurement validation on aerofoil components and producing measurement reports to support the customers acceptance specifications. You will be working to primary standards in support of Trescal contract at Rolls Royce. Maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing the RollsRoyce management systems. You will also participate in external/internal audits as required by the Trescal Quality Manager within the Trescal facility.

Requirements
  • Technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
  • Extensive calibration and CMM knowledge
  • Ability to create new programmes and use software for CMM Mitutoyo mcosmos v5
  • Good understanding of GD & T
  • Interpret and work from customer specifications, drawings and CAD models
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Windows-based and laboratory automation software
  • Experience working within a customer focussed environment
