Our Principal Consultant Robin Thomas is looking for a CMM Programmer to join one of the UK's most respected precision engineering companies.

To succeed in this role, you'll need previous experience working as a CMM Programmer and be a well-organized individual with a high attention to detail.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate CMM Programmes (Offline and Online, with/without CAD) and reports for new and existing part numbers.
• Verify CMM reports by manual means where applicable.
• Perform manual/visual inspection when CMM is unsuitable.
• Liaise with management and machine shop operatives regarding product status.
• Aid in problem-solving and solution identification.
• Operate CMM and interpret results.
• Liaise with customers where applicable.
• Create FAI reports.
• Retain reports where applicable.
• Maintain traceability throughout processes.
• Set priorities with management.
• Produce Certificate of Conformity.
• Perform visual/manual inspection.
• Control documentation.
• Ensure traceability requirements are adhered to.
