Job summary

Castings Technology International is seeking a precision measurement professional to perform CMM inspections and manual dimensional checks on patterns and castings. You will operate FARO and Hexagon scanning arms and maintain CMMs, producing reliable measurement reports in line with aerospace quality requirements.

You will verify accuracy, follow procedures, and support corrective actions in a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail and ability to perform accurate measurements is required.
• Familiarity with CMM software such as PC-DMIS.

Responsibilities

• Measurement and analysis for all patterns and castings.
• Operate and maintain FARO scanning arm, Hexagon scanning arm, and Hexagon CMM.
• Carry out CMM accuracy verification checks.
• Perform dimensional inspections according to procedures and quality standards.
• Carry out manual dimensional inspection using micrometers, verniers and other precision tools.
• Produce accurate measurement reports from inspection activities.
• Ensure inspected parts meet aerospace quality requirements.
• Attend NCR meetings and support corrective actions.

Role Duties

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, those below

• Responsible for measurement and analysis for all patterns and castings
• Operate and maintain FARO scanning arm, Hexagon scanning arm, and Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machine
• Carry out CMM accuracy verification checks
• Perform dimensional inspections in accordance with operating procedures and quality standards
• Carry out manual dimensional inspection using equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and other precision
• Conduct CMM inspection activities and produce accurate measurement reports
• Ensure all inspected parts meet aerospace quality requirements
• Attend NCR meetings and support corrective action activities
• Ensure official routing documentation and procedures are adhered to at all times
• Ensure the latest approved software versions are available and maintain proficiency in their use
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with company health and safety procedures
• Responsibilities are not limited to the above and may include any other duties required to support business needs
