Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley, UK, seeks an experienced CMM Inspector for a 5-month fixed-term contract in our Main Inspection Department. The role involves high-precision metrology using PC-DMIS and a focus on quality and accuracy across car build activities.

You will inspect components to drawings, program CMMs, and support metrology with a range of inspection equipment. Strong GD&T knowledge and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using mechanical inspection equipment and hand measurement tools.
• Solid understanding of quality systems and metrology principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong computer skills and confidence with technical software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional, mechanical and visual inspections, ensuring components meet drawings and specifications.
• Program and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS, online and offline.
• Support Metrology with a range of inspection equipment and techniques.
• Produce accurate non-conformance reports when required.
• Ensure work complies with Health & Safety procedures.
• Apply GD&T and inspection best practices.
