The Role: CMM Inspector

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CMM Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Wolverhampton.
As a qualified CMM Inspector, you will ensure the quality and precision of both internally produced and supply chain products.
You'll be responsible for reviewing and improving CMM programs, conducting inspections, and supporting the Quality Team in other areas.

Duties: CMM Inspector

1. Perform inspections using Zeiss Calypso and PC-DMIS systems.
2. Develop CMM programs from CAD models.
3. Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections and CMM Program Prove Outs.
4. Collaborate with the Quality Team to enhance manufacturing processes.
5. Write non-conformance reports.
6. Perform manual inspections using hand tools and vision systems.

Background: CMM Inspector

1. HNC/HND in engineering discipline.
2. Experience with Zeiss and PC-DMIS, OGP.
3. Experience of CMM prove out.
4. Analytical abilities to drive root cause and corrective action.
5. Ideally within the aerospace industry.
