The CMM Operator / Inspector role in Newcastle area offers the opportunity to program and operate coordinate measuring machines to ensure components meet required quality standards. You will use MCOSMOS software to inspect against drawings and tolerances, maintaining dimensional accuracy and collaborating with peers.

With nights shifts and potential permanent progression, the role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and training colleagues to uphold high engineering standards.

Job Title

CMM Operator / Inspector

Location

Newcastle upon Tyne area

Salary

£21.90 per hour basic pay

Night shifts: £28.31 per hour, including a 29.25% shift allowance

Overtime: £32.85 per hour, paid at time and a half of basic pay

An established manufacturing and engineering business is seeking three temporary professionals, with the potential for two positions to become permanent. Permanent and fixed-term applications may also be considered.

Working Hours

The CMM Operator / Inspector positions involve various shift patterns, including nights. Flexibility to work overtime is required to support customer requirements. Exact weekly hours and shift arrangements will be confirmed.
