Position: CMM Inspector

Elevation Recruitment Group is currently partnered with a highly-regulated manufacturer in Derbyshire, seeking a CMM Inspector to join on an initial 12-month FTC, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.

This role offers the opportunity to work with high-tech machinery and equipment in a renowned manufacturing environment. It operates on a shift basis and includes overtime options.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform first-off inspection of production components
  2. Conduct full first article inspection reporting
  3. Perform final inspections
  4. Carry out subcontract inspections
  5. Raise deliveries
  6. Produce technical reports as required
  7. Calibrate equipment internally
  8. Identify and raise non-conformance issues following company procedures
  9. Support investigations into non-conformance processes
  10. Assist in reduction, lean, and continuous improvement activities
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Experience with technical measuring equipment (e.g., CMM, Faro Arm)
  2. Familiarity with engineering measuring and gauging tools
  3. Knowledge of CMM programming (desirable)
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
