We are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences and achieving strong commercial results. With an ambitious growth strategy and an exciting pipeline of projects, Criterion Hospitality offers a fast-paced and dynamic environment where talented individuals can thrive.

We are now looking for a motivated and results-driven Corporate Sales Manager to focus on corporate sales and drive revenue growth across our portfolio. This is a key role for a professional with a strong background in corporate sales, capable of building long-term relationships and securing new business opportunities.

This is fully office based role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new corporate clients, both locally and internationally. Focus on increasing transient corporate bookings and group/conference business to maximise revenue across Criterion Hospitality’s properties.

Strategic Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate stakeholders, including travel managers, procurement teams, and event organisers. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to encourage repeat business and loyalty.

Conference and Event Sales:

  • Promote the group’s events spaces to corporate clients. Work closely with the events team to deliver seamless planning and execution for meetings, conferences, and group bookings.

RFP and Contract Management:

  • Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from corporate clients, preparing competitive proposals and negotiating contracts. Ensure proposals align with client needs and the group’s business goals.
  • Increase the visibility and appeal of Criterion’s properties within the corporate travel and events market. Position the group as the preferred choice for business clients by offering tailored solutions and building strong partnerships.

Sales Planning and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve corporate revenue goals. Provide regular reporting on performance, client engagement, and business outcomes to senior management.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and events teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in corporate sales within the hospitality industry, with a focus on group and conference bookings and client relationship management.
  • Proven success in developing corporate accounts and achieving consistent revenue growth.
  • Experience managing RFPs and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and networking skills, with the ability to close deals and build lasting relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of the corporate travel and events market, including trends and client requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver tailored solutions.
