A Cluster Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the annual marketing plan, driving key objectives, current initiatives, and relevant marketing activities related directly to the cluster. The role will be responsible for leading the cluster’s marketing team and ensuring the department performs an integral role in bringing together all functional areas to meet and exceed commercial targets.
What will I be doing?
As a Cluster Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the results of the marketing plan and activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets, and address hotel business needs. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Business Function:
- Develop, proactively manage, and implement the annual cluster marketing plan, including eCommerce, brand, and loyalty marketing within budget guidelines.
- Drive the development of a sound B2B and B2C strategy by segment for each hotel, aligned with the commercial focus process.
- Measure the success of all marketing activities, promotions, and campaigns, and produce performance reports for stakeholders.
- Manage the rollout of marketing initiatives to support the cluster in meeting revenue targets, leveraging activities in Regional Marketing, eCommerce, and other functions.
- Oversee all promotional activities across channels, ensuring brand adherence and effectiveness.
- Support sales and F&B teams with marketing collateral and initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing collateral conforms to brand standards and corporate guidelines within budget.
- Support individual brand initiatives and ensure effective rollout and communication.
- Develop and manage social media activity and support departmental initiatives.
- Recognize opportunities for loyalty programs and manage CRM and database requirements.
- Identify local partnership opportunities and oversee revenue-driving activities.
- Build a social media strategy to grow followers and engagement.
- Respond to customer postings and handle complaints appropriately.
- Managing Execution:
- Achieve performance goals and marketing objectives set by the Line Manager.
- Manage marketing projects within resources and budget constraints.
- Represent marketing in cluster meetings, proactively identifying revenue opportunities.
- Analyze competitive environment and consumer trends to inform strategies.
- Ensure brand compliance across all initiatives.
- Lead content management across all channels.
- Conduct marketing audits and participate in industry events and training.
- Support merchandising activities and respond to requests efficiently.
