Job summary

Change Grow Live in Birmingham is seeking a Cluster Lead Nurse for a fully on-site role. You will provide clinical leadership across substance misuse services and guide the nursing team to deliver safe, recovery-focused care.

Essential requirements include Registered Nurse status, leadership experience, and safeguarding knowledge. The role emphasises collaboration with doctors, psychiatrists and recovery staff in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide visible clinical leadership across substance misuse services.
Lead the nursing workforce and work with operational managers to improve care quality.
Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions for drug and alcohol users.
Ensure compliance with NMC standards and governance requirements.
Support medicines management, prescribing governance and risk management.
Lead safeguarding practices for adults and children.
Monitor clinical performance, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Coach and supervise nursing staff through appraisal and training.
