Our Bosville, Marmalade and Bracken Hide Hotels are hiring a Cluster Head Housekeeper to join their team in Portree, The Isle of Skye. This is a full-time, permanent contract, working 45 hours a week, Monday through Sunday.

As a Cluster Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the operations of the housekeeping departments across the hotels, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained according to hygiene standards. You will manage the housekeeping team to ensure staff satisfaction and optimal performance.

Prior experience with Stayntouch, Trustyou, and RotaCloud systems is preferred but not required.

The Bosville Hotel, in Portree, situated within restored 18th-century cottages with views of the harbour.

The Marmalade Hotel, in Portree, set in mature gardens with views of the village, loch, and Cuillin Mountains, blending historic and contemporary design.

The Bracken Hide Hotel, a new four-star wilderness hotel on 52 acres near Portree, connecting guests with the island's land and seascapes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize employee schedules, ensure ongoing training, and hold staff meetings.
• Ensure proper coverage of shifts, team productivity, and room cleanliness.
• Maintain bedrooms and public areas to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Manage stock levels of chemicals, consumables, and linen using par stocking.
• Follow procedures regarding COSHH and chemical use.
• Foster positive employee relations through effective communication.
• Work with linen suppliers to manage stock levels aligned with occupancy.
• Keep housekeeping back-of-house areas tidy and stocked.
• Follow guest relations policies to ensure guest satisfaction.
