  • Compliance: Ensure implementation of people-related policies and procedures, current legislation, and ensure managers are compliant, including all right-to-work documentation and working time procedures.
  • Learning and Development: Monitor and communicate training within teams, ensure personal development plans are in place, identify local training needs, and oversee group induction processes.
  • Payroll: Support the processing of weekly/monthly payroll, including sign-offs and budgeting, and act as an escalation point for payroll queries.
  • Employee Relations: Provide leadership in employment law, coaching managers on investigations, and advising on people management. Focus on employee wellbeing and effective communication.
  • Engagement: Support HR strategy development, drive engagement activities, and utilize platforms like “LEAPP” and “Leo Points”.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience in a similar HR role, preferably in hotels or service sectors.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems, payroll, and HR platforms.
  • Ability to coach management and handle payroll knowledge is desirable.

We value our colleagues and support their growth through top-notch training and clear progression paths.
