Perle Hotels are seeking a senior manager to lead the team by supporting the Cluster General Manager on the Isle of Skye. We are looking for an experienced Cluster Accommodation Manager in Portree, Isle of Skye, overseeing three hotels.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours a week, Monday through Sunday, with at least one shift at reception per hotel weekly. Responsibilities include managing reception, housekeeping, nights, and porterage teams across the three hotels, conducting regular room checks and audits.

The ideal candidate will be guest-focused, with sound financial and commercial acumen, and sympathetic to operational needs. You will manage our Executive Head Housekeeper, Relief Night Manager, and Reception Supervisors, collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager and Head Chefs. You will report to the Cluster General Manager.

The role involves overseeing operational and financial performance, approving rotas, ensuring team training and guest service consistency, and holding regular meetings with key managers and online discussions with the Central Support team in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience as a Rooms Division/Accommodation Manager or similar roles in smaller properties or multisite resorts.
  • Is guest-centric and passionate about service quality.
  • Knows when to assist in operations and when to lead and support teams.
  • Has experience managing department heads, HR processes, and developing SOPs.
  • Possesses strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Has critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Displays warmth and care towards guests and team members.

  • Implementing and reviewing SOPs across departments.
  • Handling daily inquiries, grievances, and operational issues promptly.
  • Managing supplies and liaising with suppliers and staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Fostering positive employee relations through regular communication and team meetings.
