Club Manager
Havant, Hampshire

  • Full time, permanent (40 hours per week, flexible, weekend bias)

The Role

Our client is looking for a hands-on, experienced and proactive Clubhouse Operations Manager to join their senior management team. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the clubhouse, leading a team, managing events, and ensuring a high-quality experience for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clubhouse operations across a 7-day schedule
  • Lead and develop the clubhouse team – recruitment, training, and performance
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and facilities maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Be a keyholder and representative of the club
  • Deliver top-tier customer service and handle member queries
  • Plan and coordinate events and fixtures
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies
  • Monitor budgets, produce financial and performance reports
  • Implement board decisions and club strategy
  • Champion best practices to drive sales, minimise costs, and enhance customer satisfaction

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be an energetic, organised, and service-focused professional who thrives on taking ownership and delivering results in a lively, people-centric environment. About you:

  • 2+ years of clubhouse or hospitality management experience
  • 2+ years in team leadership roles
  • Budget management and commercial reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EPOS systems
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • A strong background in customer service
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude with great attention to detail
  • Ability to handle conflict and motivate a team
  • DBS clearance or willingness to obtain it
