Job summary

A reputable engineering organization in the UK is seeking a Cloud Software Tech Lead to expand their software engineering team. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across cloud teams, mentor other engineers, and report directly to the Cloud Engineering Manager. This role requires extensive experience in Cloud Technologies, particularly AWS and .NET, alongside strong interpersonal skills for coaching team members. Candidates are expected to have around 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience ideally in software engineering or relevant fields.
• Extensive hands-on experience using Cloud Technologies, ideally AWS or Azure.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members to enhance performance.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Cloud Engineering Manager.
• Coaches and mentors other team members while delivering project objectives at pace.
• Provides mentorship to senior engineers to simplify solutions.

Overview

Due to overall workload and new product development, this reputable engineering organisation is looking to expand its software engineering team. We’re looking for a Cloud Software Tech Lead to deliver technical leadership across two cloud teams.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Cloud Engineering Manager on a day-to-day basis.
• Coaches and mentors other team members whilst working autonomously to deliver at a fast pace.
• Provides mentorship to senior engineers within the teams, helping to simplify solutions and problem solving to drive the project forward.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent)
• .NET
• Extensive hands‑on experience using Cloud Technologies (AWS ideally but Azure too)
• 10 years’ experience ideally
