Job Description:

At Capgemini Invent, we believe difference drives change. As inventive transformation consultants, we blend our strategic, creative and scientific capabilities, collaborating closely with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose.

Your Role

As a Cloud Strategy Consultant or Senior Consultant at Capgemini Invent, you will be part of our Cloud Advisory capability within the wider Business Technology unit. Our Cloud Advisory team inspires, leads, and supports organisations on their cloud adoption journeys—helping them unlock new business and revenue models, drive growth, meet regulatory requirements, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Cloud is a key enabler of business strategy—from launching new business models to managing strategic risks. Today, a cloud strategy goes far beyond infrastructure—it encompasses business, application, data, security, integration, and platform considerations. In this role, you will combine your understanding of client challenges with our industry thought leadership to shape cloud strategies that build future-ready enterprises.

Whether you come from a consulting background or have led transformation from within industry, you’ll work across all levels of client organisations to collaboratively design and implement new business and operating models. You’ll bring insight into market trends and sector-specific challenges to deliver meaningful, sustainable transformation through cloud.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & Development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile

You are a strategic thinker with a consultancy mindset—someone who can bridge the gap between business challenges and cloud-enabled transformation. You will thrive in client-facing environments, shaping technology strategy and guiding enterprise-wide change. You know how to turn cloud potential into business impact—guiding clients through transformation journeys that deliver real results

  • Experience in strategic engagements for large or mid size organisations on public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Proven experience in shaping and delivering cloud adoption strategies and transformation roadmaps that align with client business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in cloud transformation initiatives, guiding clients through migration journeys with a focus on business value and operational impact.
  • Ability totranslate complex business challengesinto actionable cloud strategies across specific technology and industry domains.
  • understanding ofcloud transformation pitfalls, with the ability to proactively mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity withindustry-specific cloud solutions from AWS, Azure, or GCP, and how they enable innovation within specific sectors
  • Strategic insight into how cloud enables enterprise transformation, including data & analytics modernisation, enhanced customer experiences, and agile operating models.
  • Knowledge of cloud operating models across public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, and their implications for governance and scalability.
  • Awareness of cloud security frameworks, DevSecOps principles, and operational best practices to ensure secure and resilient cloud ecosystems
  • Proven ability to succeed in either consulting or industry environments, with a strong track record of collaborating across matrixed teams and influencing stakeholders to deliver strategic, high-impact cloud solutions.

Key expectations from this role include:

  • As a Consultant: lead a stream of work and produce high quality deliverables, providing key input to shape the strategic direction and support the design of propositions.
  • As a Senior Consultant: design and lead projects / multiple streams taking ownership for elements of the proposition.

What You'll Love About Working Here

No matter the project or customer, your work will have a meaningful impact on society, businesses and lives. It’s really rewarding. And it’s also really varied. You’ll potentially work on a huge variety of projects (some larger than others), so you could gain lots of experience in a short amount of time.

Client engagements give you the opportunity to work with our leadership and experienced consulting management, where you can learn from them, challenge them and accelerate your hands-on experience, delivery capability and industry insights. There are many opportunities like monthly team drinks to connect face-to-face with the wider team over a few drinks in the city. There are regular leadership connect sessions that will give you a different, more relaxed setting to meet up in the office to hear from the leadership, meet colleagues and discuss the trends and insights within the market. Team days are always a chance to connect with the team, have fun and learn something new.
