Job summary

Primark is seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect specialising in Cloud Infrastructure to lead a migration from Oracle Retail Platform 15.x to Oracle Cloud on a 6-month contract in Reading. You will own the infrastructure design end-to-end across hybrid connectivity, Azure platforms, and security, ensuring a secure, performant environment.

The role requires 5+ years in architecture, strong Azure networking, SaaS integration, and proven stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Architecture (8+ years IT) with enterprise-scale infra
• Strong Azure networking experience and hybrid cloud patterns
• Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms, Oracle SaaS preferred
• Deep knowledge of networking, security, identity, monitoring
• Prior retail transformation or cloud migration experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure design for Oracle SaaS migration
• Own hybrid connectivity, Azure platform design, and security controls
• Produce high-level blueprints, technical diagrams, and runbooks
• Stakeholder communication to technical and business partners
