Job summary

Capgemini UK is seeking a Multi-Cloud Solutions Manager / Architect (Pre-Sales) to lead design of secure, scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP for UK government and enterprise clients. You will guide opportunity qualification, craft architecture diagrams, and present compelling proposals.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, stay current with cloud tech, and ensure compliance with NCSC and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions across AWS, Azure and/or GCP, ideally including public sector clients.
• Familiarity with cloud certifications and strong understanding of cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of UK government frameworks such as NCSC and GDPR, focusing on secure design.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in pre-sales, proposal development, and building trusted client relationships.
• Problem-solver who can identify client needs and craft innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and UK government procurement processes.

As a Multi-Cloud Solutions Manager / Architect (Pre-Sales), you will play a key role in shaping and securing new business opportunities within the UK. You’ll lead the design of secure, scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment with both technical and regulatory requirements.

Your Role

Design secure, scalable multi‑cloud solutions tailored to clients including UK government requirements, ensuring compliance with standards such as NCSC and GDPR.

Lead the technical aspects of pre‑sales engagements, including opportunity qualification, solution design, and client presentations.

Your skills and experience

• Cloud Architecture Experience: Hands‑on experience designing and implementing solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, ideally including within the public sector.
• Certifications & Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud certifications and a strong understanding of cloud platforms.
• Security & Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of UK government frameworks such as NCSC and GDPR, with a focus on secure design.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Client Engagement: Experience in pre‑sales, proposal development, and building trusted client relationships.
• Analytical Thinking: A problem‑solver who can identify client needs and craft effective, innovative solutions.
• Bonus: Familiarity with DevOps tools and UK government procurement processes.
