We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ApplicationEngineer with cloud experience to join our client who is a leading provider of logistics software. As a Cloud SoftwareEngineer, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and play a crucial role in supporting and evolving our infrastructure.

Office based in Edinburgh - very flexible althoughlooking for candidates within a commutable distance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a reliable, secure, and high-quality service.
• Support development teams in deploying code to production environments.
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Act promptly to restore service during incidents.
• Bridge the gap between Development and Operations by solving complex problems.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant commercial experience in application development.
• Proficiency in working with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command-line interface.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Solid understanding of application development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and systems.
