We are currently recruiting a Cloud Software Developer for our Antrim based team.

In this role, you will be responsible for working within a cross-functional team to architect, develop, maintain and improve the Sensata cloud platform and deliver high-value insights to our end customers.

General Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and deploy highly scalable microservices into the cloud.
  2. Design, implement, and release robust mobile applications.
  3. Utilize various languages and tools to integrate systems.
  4. Manage all aspects of the software product lifecycle from requirements to release.
  5. Collaborate with team members to establish best practices.
  6. Promote a culture of high-quality software development.
Experience / Qualifications
  • University degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across organizational levels.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Build infrastructure as code using container services.
  • Design, code, and test application features with CI.
  • Work within an Agile and SCRUM environment.
  • Develop front-end and back-end components.
  • Create mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders and product owners for scope and estimates.
  • Advance product architecture leveraging technological knowledge.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript (preferably AngularJS), Java, and Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of web technologies like CSS3, HTML5, AJAX, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Lambda).
  • Experience with automated deployments (Elastic Beanstalk, Docker, Cloud Foundation, Ansible).
  • Experience with RESTful/JSON web services.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies, SCRUM, CI tools (Jenkins), and collaboration tools (GitHub, JIRA, Trello, Slack).
  • Action-oriented, creative, honest, passionate, self-managed, results-focused approach.
