Job summary

Avanade is seeking an experienced Cloud Security & Exposure Management Architect to join our security practice. This client-facing role focuses on improving clients' cloud security and exposure management maturity using Microsoft Security technologies and threat-informed approaches.

You will participate in presales, proposal development, and architecture inputs for enterprise clients, with partial delivery expectations for the year.

Qualifications

• Strong cloud security expertise across cloud environments and threat modelling
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra)
• Ability to translate technical exposure findings into business risk and actions
• Experience in security architecture, pre-sales support, and RFP responses
• Stakeholder management and client-facing delivery experience
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead defined workstreams within cloud security and exposure management engagements.
• Manage deliverables: exposure assessments, remediation plans, and reporting.
• Contribute to solution architecture and pre-sales deal shaping for Microsoft security tools.
• Build relationships with client security, cloud, and operations stakeholders.
• Design and implement cloud security, exposure management, threat detection, and SOC capabilities.
