Job summary

Oliver Bernard is partnering with a world-leading online media company to recruit an experienced Platform/Cloud Security and DevSecOps Engineer in the UK. This greenfield role drives security decisions and defines best practices for the digital strategy.

You will act as an SME, define security principles with developers, build automated tools and dashboards, and champion security across engineering teams— with a focus on AWS Cloud Security and DevSecOps.

Qualifications

• Excellent experience in a similar DevSecOps or Cloud Security Engineering position.
• Great knowledge of AWS security and engineering.
• Good understanding of Cloudflare.
• Very good experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker and Ansible etc.
• Understanding of the SDLC, CI/CD best practices and building secure, high-scalable, software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define security principles and coding standards with developers.
• Develop automated tools and analytics and monitoring dashboards.
• Champion security throughout the engineering teams.
• Be the go-to for AWS Cloud Security and DevSecOps engineering.
