Job summary

Computershare is seeking a security engineer to design, implement, and maintain technical security infrastructure across our global environment. The role emphasises cloud security, encryption, IAM, and threat management within a hybrid working setup in Bristol or Edinburgh.

You will develop security tooling, tune SIEM rules, and work with threat intelligence teams to track zero-day threats while coordinating with regional infrastructure and architecture groups.

Qualifications

• We are looking for in-depth experience developing, implementing, and monitoring security solutions.
• We ideally want Azure Security Engineer Associate certification or similar.
• We need proficient knowledge of cloud architecture and its security considerations.
• We value a strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, and authentication methods.
• We are looking for excellent troubleshooting skills.
• We require proven experience in InfoSec engineering.
• Experience with SIEM, data loss prevention, cloud security, IDS/IPS, email threat prevention, endpoint detection and response, identity protection, privileged password management, and identity access management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design, implementation, and maintenance of our security infrastructure and policies.
• Develop technical solutions and new security toolsets to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks.
• Build, implement, and tune SIEM event correlation rules, logic, and content.
• Build, implement, and tune web content protection rules and logic.
• Collaborate with Security Monitoring to defend the enterprise per policies and practices.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Work with threat intelligence and cyber assurance teams to monitor industry threats and vulnerabilities.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with global technology teams.
