Job summary

Freshfields seeks a Security Specialist to drive cloud security across Azure, M365 and Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in SIEM and vulnerability management. The role covers incident response support, Defender usage optimization, and IAM/zero-trust guidance across hybrid environments.

The ISG department focuses on operational and strategic information security, with offices in London and Manchester. Strong communication and certification in cloud security are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Azure security environments.
• Experience across cloud and hybrid compute, network and storage resources.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms and vulnerability management tools.
• Familiarity with Terraform and IaC best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess security configurations of Azure IaaS and Google Cloud environments.
• Advise on cloud security best practices and threat detection improvements.
• Provide expertise to Cyber Incident Responders in CLOUD security when needed.
• Maintain security tooling including SIEM and vulnerability tools; manage upgrades.
