Job summary

Freshfields, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Security Specialist to secure Azure, M365 and cloud environments while supporting incident response. You will evaluate Defender tools, optimize monitoring, and guide IAM and zero-trust controls across hybrid cloud estates.

The role requires hands-on cloud security, SIEM experience, and strong communication to advise stakeholders. Based in London/Manchester with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing Azure environments and cloud resources.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management.
• Experience supporting incident response teams in a security operations context.

Responsibilities

• Assess security configurations of Azure IaaS and Google Cloud environments.
• Advise on Defender usage, threat detection and response improvements.
• Improve Conditional Access and IAM for zero-trust environments.
• Conduct security governance and compliance reviews.
• Maintain security tooling and support incident response activities.
