Job summary

N Brown Group is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Manchester-based team. You will implement and manage security tooling, integrate cloud-native security in AWS, and collaborate with engineering teams to mitigate risks while keeping internal customers at the forefront.

Ideal candidates will have experience with SIEMs (preferably Splunk), cloud security tooling, and incident response. The role offers hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with security tooling and cloud security concepts.
• Familiarity with incident response and threat detection.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS or similar compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve security processes through automation.
• Onboard and integrate AWS native security tools for detection and response.
• Develop self-service security tools for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain effective cyber controls.
• Implement new security tooling and maintain platforms.
• Support incident response efforts and automation across security operations.
