Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to define secure cloud architectures across Azure, GCP and hybrid environments. The role focuses on secure, resilient cloud solutions, governance and risk management within a hybrid, office-and-office setting.

The position demands strong cloud security expertise, threat modelling, and collaboration with product and engineering teams to embed guardrails early in design.

Qualifications

• Governance, risk and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Threat modelling and risk management for cloud systems.

• AI/ML security risks and secure deployment controls.
• Secure software supply chain and CI/CD security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce reference architectures, patterns, and blueprints for secure cloud adoption across Azure, GCP and hybrid environments.
• Conduct threat modelling and security assessments for new cloud services, defining guardrails to maintain secure posture.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security guardrails early in design and ensure compliance.
• Review external architecture proposals and identify security gaps.
• Document and uphold secure-by-design principles and architecture governance.
• Collaborate with senior partners to articulate security risks and mitigations.
• Anticipate customer needs and address them proactively.
