Job summary

Harrington Starr is seeking a Security Architect with a strong focus on networking and cloud technologies within the Microsoft stack. The role is remote with occasional visits to the Belfast Head Office, and it offers the chance to shape enterprise cloud security across Microsoft-based solutions.

You will design cloud-native security architectures, lead CASB strategies, and ensure robust email security in hybrid environments, collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams globally.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps).
• Experience with Microsoft Purview data classification, labeling, and DLP via CASB.
• Proven experience designing secure hybrid email security architectures.
• Experience implementing enterprise CASB and CNAPP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native security architectures and enterprise security solutions.
• Develop and deliver CASB strategies to protect cloud apps and services.
• Define and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct security assessments, architecture reviews, and cloud security audits.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for cloud and network security solutions.
• Act as SME for email security architecture across hybrid environments.
• Monitor threat landscape and recommend security improvements and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and influence security strategy across stakeholders.
