Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead - Cloud Engineer in Belfast to drive cloud platform engineering across AWS and Google Cloud. The role focuses on building scalable, secure infrastructure and enabling rapid innovation through automation and IaC.

You will own the reliability and performance of cloud services, implement CI/CD integration, and mentor teammates while aligning with security and compliance standards.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE in a mid-level or senior capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Google Cloud (GCP).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) hands-on expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, Deployment Manager.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and IAM in a cloud environment.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, Stackdriver).
• Commitment to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and operational ownership.

Aufgaben

• Cloud Platform Engineering: Design, implement, and manage core cloud infrastructure and services on AWS and GCP, focusing on compute, storage, networking, security, and identity management.
• IaC: Develop, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Deployment Manager. Create reusable modules and blueprints.
• Automation & Orchestration: Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources. Develop scripts (Python, Go, Bash).
• Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE) for cloud-native apps.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Own reliability, performance, and availability. Implement monitoring, alerting, logging; participate in on-call rotations.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices, configure IAM, firewalls, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
• CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate infrastructure provisioning and management into CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create documentation for architectures and procedures; mentor junior engineers.
