Job description

We’re talking about building and evolving a state-of-the-art platform that handles millions of real-time transactions every day.

Sounds juicy right? Something to get stuck into challenges to overcome.

With a global customer base and revenues in the 10-figure range, this industry-leading name in entertainment is renowned for its tech innovation. They’re embarking on a transformative journey to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) underpinned by a complex Kubernetes ecosystem.

To spearhead this exciting move, they’re expanding their dedicated Platform team — a new, start-up-like division within the company, focusing exclusively on GCP, DevOps, and driving enterprise-wide cloud innovation. Tooling will vary day to day as different teams need different solutions but core areas will be GCP, Terraform and K8s.

We are looking for an expert in a modern cloud environment who excels in infrastructure-as-code, automation, and containerisation. If you’ve got strong Kubernetes skills, you’ll be at the forefront of orchestrating and managing containers in high-demand, mission-critical environments. Your Kubernetes expertise will be key to building scalable systems while optimising resource use across the platform.

What if you don’t have GCP experience? No problem. If your cloud background is in AWS and you’ve been curious about what GCP has to offer, this is your chance to dive in, explore, and master the Google ecosystem.

If working on greenfield projects, being part of a new, dynamic team, and driving innovation within a global organisation excites you, let’s connect.
