About the role:

Loftware is expanding its worldwide 24x7 Cloud Operations Team and we are looking for a technically motivated, English-speaking Cloud Operations Site Reliability Engineer with strong cloud-based Linux and Windows knowledge. The engineer will be hands-on, involved with building, maintaining, and troubleshooting customer environments for mission-critical applications across cloud platforms including AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate is a team player, passionate about modern technology, and eager to take on large-scale responsibility for the cloud environment.

The engineer will collaborate with the Cloud Operations team, QA, and Development to improve automated infrastructure and deployment, build reliable cloud infrastructure, and manage highly available and scalable solutions that customers depend on.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to evolve solutions across different cloud platforms and expand your cloud skills.

• Improve monitoring systems in AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments to track health and performance. Develop alerts to proactively address issues.
• Develop and maintain automation tools using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement security best practices, assess risks, and create disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with software engineers to enhance application reliability and resilience, and optimize performance.
• Configure cloud-based networking for customer devices and data systems outside cloud environments (VPN, direct connect, transit gateways).
• Respond to incidents promptly, conduct root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident support outside regular hours.

Required Qualifications:
